Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is an engaging fixed shooter arcade game where players combat centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas with a bugblaster. To excel in this game, your goal is to survive for as long as possible. The bugblaster shoots small darts at the segmented centipede, which typically comprises 10 to 12 body parts, including the head. When hit, each segment of the centipede transforms into a mushroom. The severed segments of the centipede then continue moving independently towards you. Only by targeting and striking the head can you completely destroy the centipede.
