Snake and Ladder
Snakes and Ladders is an ancient Indian board game that has gained recognition worldwide as a timeless classic. It is typically played by two or more players on a square gameboard divided into numbered, gridded squares. The board features various ladders and snakes, each connecting specific squares, which either aid or obstruct players’ progress. The primary goal is to advance a game piece from the starting position at the bottom of the board to the final square at the top, dictated by the roll of a die. Ladders help players ascend faster by providing shortcuts, while snakes can send players sliding back, adding an element of chance and unpredictability to the game. To play, simply press the “space” key on your keyboard or click/touch the “roll” button to roll the dice and move your piece accordingly.
